Of all the emotions sorrow is my favorite

Of all the emotions
sorrow is my favorite
I would give it five stars
if I could rate

A feeling so heavy
A feeling burning down my chest
A pain that punctures my heart all over
and doesn't allow me to rest

A lump that catches my throat
and won't let me speak
A dark embrace filled with fears and worries
locking me in and making me weak

A drug which has its effect
for longer period than fleeting joy
A bittersweet addiction
I love to enjoy

A longing companion
which doesn't get off so easily
A trigger that shoots out
my skills in poetry

With a heavy breath, it makes me sigh
it reminds me that I am still alive!
I guess I'm one strange crazy poetess who
could feel happiness in sorrow too!
