Unresolved fight; room
filled with silence...now, broken
by the slam of door!
--x--
Veil of silence masks
their true feelings; Aren't they
so close, yet so far!?

beautiful feelings conveyed through few words...great Valli
Second one is profound. Beautiful writing!
I have experienced both of these situations you describe so well with your haiku. "so close, yet so far" it's so sad when that happens to us.
silently beautiful..
Nice lines but one person ought to make the first move-no ?
Close. .yet so far. . really a painful situation. . which cant be put in words. .
I could almost hear the sound of the banging door...amazing!Very well written...
No words to say. Really Awesome dear . Very innovative blog. took me to a dreamy world . Thank you very much :)
I especially love your last "so close yet so far".
aloha Valli - both of these haiku follow from a keen observation of human nature and relationships. i like the twists that you bring out in each:
"close yet so far (apart)" and "the slam of a door". i like both of those last lines in your haiku. aloha
I can relate to your haiku ~ Unresolved fights can be very straining to the relationship ~ Good one ~
you were right when you commented on my post on silence... indeed you too have beautifully captured the agony of silence.... Wish you happiness valli...
Silence can indeed be cold and hostile.
Thanks for the read Everyone :)
Oh, indeed! Not all silence is golden or welcome!
