Dull is the sky
when stars don't glow
Stagnant are thoughts
when emotions don't flow
Scattered in my brain
are a thousand words
But, neither pleasure nor pain
inspires to join them as phrase
Oh! How I miss those days
when magically I used to rhyme
Never too much effort and
without taking too much time...
To my writing skills
did I unknowingly put a lock?
Perhaps, this sad phase of an author
is termed as writer's block!
P.s. I donno why....I am not able to write poems like I used to :/

Very nicely written! The best way to get out of writer's block is to write about it and you did just that with this post.
I can relate to your frustration..the best way is just to write and write, even though it doesn't make sense..You are also growing as a writer, so you want to try to write about other things ~
