Loving me is like chasing a mirage...
You run towards me when
my colors attract you
But Alas!
This rainbow slowly dissolves
as you get closer
You stand still, looking at me
surprised and disappointed
I'm not the way you've seen,
or the way you've imagined me to be......
And soon your love begins to melt
draining away slowly
accompanying my fading colors...

I loved this little piece of poetry... Sounds like it is straight from the heart and that it is about me... Touchy and kudos to you, Valli, because you always manage to do it!
Love swells like the Solway,but ebbs like its tide- Even love at its first beginning or awakening is great as the coming of the tides with waves that grow in intensity,but as time goes on, the intensity slows and diminishes like the ebbing of the sea. Love is constant but it does have its strong moments and also its weaker ones but it is always there that is if love is really there. Fact of the matter is mostly physical attraction is misconstrued to be love...
