The last page of my notebook

The last page of my notebook

The last page of my notebook...

A place where I check
whether my pen is working or not
A place where I calculate
the percentage out of the marks I got

The last page of my notebook...

A place where I play the game
of flames with my secret crush's name
Then strike it off so that no one sees
and not giving a chance for my best friend to tease

The last page of my notebook...

A place where I chat
with my friend when the class is going on
Unable to listen
the boring lecture going on since morn

The last page of my notebook...

A place where I note
important questions for the upcoming exam
A place where I scribble
random things or even try drawing the funny face of Ma'am

The last page of my notebook...

A place where I write
beautiful lines of my favorite song
A place where me and my friend play
tic-tac-toe with marks of right and wrong

The last pages of our notebooks...
aren't just pages, They are much more...
They are precious diaries...
where I unknowingly treasure our teenage memories...

P.s. While cleaning my shelf, I glanced upon the last pages of my notebooks. Each scribble on them had a story to tell. They all reminded me my college days! Ah!! miss those days really!! :(

So, What's in your last pages of notebooks? Please share few things :)

Valli---Even I used to scribble a lot on the last page of my note books when I was in college, but never really thought of its significance. Good that you have penned down something that all of us do but don't bother to think about...Wish, I had saved some of those pages of my life.Brilliant!

:) reminds of those sweet days. In my case, I didn't have a last page because 1 book would hold more than 3 subjects; the last subject starting from the last page in the revesre order.

Haha I used to do the same.. Nice one :)

Wonderful. As we grow up, what we used to write on the last page kept changing, isn't it? I remember scribbling tamil poetry on my last page. I also used to trace coins and scales on the last page. A stencil would mean more fun :)

Lovely poem, lovely thought. We all had so many secrets hidden in those last pages. You captured the essence so well.

Wonderful...takes me back to those naive school days...by the time i entered graduation, this bizarre scribbling had lost its charm...Now we do not even use the first pages of our notebooks...in today's world of Stylus we either start from last or we do not even buy paper books.
Appreciate your reminiscence and bringing alive the cherished childhood memories.
