Red

fingers on torch

Fingers on torch; white
rays turned red, Child amused when
he saw it first time

Chillies looking hot
Its color tempting me lot
taste buds warn "Try not!"

Pretty girl in white
takes off red umbrella to
feel the joy of rain!

 A smile lit up his
face, while reading letter with
lipstick impressions

What I like best is how visual the effect--favorite: putting away the red umbrella--
literally vivid, symbolically peace follows alarm!

loved the simplicity of the first Haiku, it conveys the curiosity of childhood beautifully... we both seemed to have drawn inspiration from chillies:) loved your take on it.
